Hello. I apologize for this is not about your work. My mother was a Bohatsch. Her father,John, came to the U.S. with his mother and other siblings (I think a brother and a sister who became a nun,Sister Amanda)from Austria in the early 1900's and settled in Odin, Kansas. The story was that my great grandfather drove a beer wagon in the Black Forest and disappeared. My mother had one brother who had two girls and as far as I know the name Bohatsch (they changed it to Bohatch) disappeared in the U.S. I would appreciate any information on the Bohatsch name if you have the opportunity.
